INDICATOR: Percentage of adult and technical education graduates finding work in their fields of study

Why is this important? Adult and technical education institutions help improve workers' skills and employability. Tracking the number of graduates finding work in their fields helps evaluate the effectiveness of vocational education.
	How are we doing? The Atlanta region's six colleges offering technical education graduated 4,514 students in 2004 and 5,024 students in 2005. Approximately, 53 percent of these graduates are employed in a field related to their ea of study. A significant number (36 percent) of graduates sought additional education before entering the job market.
